Timeline

2001 - Gary and Lisa Lyons opened a housewares shop in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

2003 - Started selling plastic boxes on eBay and Amazon.

2005 - Opened the first PlasticBoxShop website.

2008 - Moved to larger warehousing in Northallerton

2009 - Moved the website to the Visualsoft ecommerce platform.

2010 - Joined forces with WhatmoreUK, the UK's biggest plastic manufacturers.

2012 - Moved to state of the art warehousing in Lancashire.

2015 - Introduced new warehouse technology.

2018 - Increased the team members.

2025 - Migrated the website to Shopify.
