We like to listen to our customers and here at PlasticBoxShop we have listened. Our customers were frequently requesting clear plastic storage boxes that had straighter sides and were less curved on the sides or ends of the boxes. The 31 litre crystal box has been designed with less moulding so that the box side are indeed straighter. They box sides still taper from the bottom to the top as this still allows the box to nest when it is not in use.
Stacking the boxes is still easy too and depending on the weight inside the box they could be stacked to 2 or 3 high. Finding your items again has not changed, as the box bases are still transparent so the items you are looking for can still be found quickly.
We think the 31 litre crystal boxes are a great all round home storage option, whether they are being used as toy storage, garage storage or craft storage. They offer cost effective and convenient storage and when the boxes have reached the end of their lifespan they are made from plastic that can be recycled.

How do we measure our boxes?
We work on a general rule of internal = minimum and external = maximum. We measure our boxes ourselves. We measure them as accurately as we can, but they are an approximation, and are there only to act as a guide. Boxes are generally moulded to stack and nest and most will taper towards the bottom of the box.
The internal measurements are the minimum measurements from the bottom of the box, and not always a true reflection of the box volume. We measure them this way so you can see if your item is going to fit in the box.
The external measurements are the maximum measurements of the box, so you can see if the box will fit in a particular space. If you are storing a particular item, we would strongly recommend that you contact us first so we can assist you in making the right choice.
